U5/U6 Warm-up Game

by Angie Manzaro
(WB MA)

I like to play Red light Green light with my group I have 20 kids and this is a great warm up drill simply by calling out the red , green, and yellow gets boring so I have added colors for example: (these progress over each week)
Red- stop
Green- go fast
Yellow- slow dribble
Orange- run around their ball
Gray- put elbow on ball
Purple- hide behind their ball
Blue- switch feet ( best used with red bc its just like toe touches)
Pink- pull the ball back and turn ( after add the green light then its a pull back, turn and go)
White- side to side ( ball between feet tapping)
Black- put foot ontop of ball and roll it out
Gold- GO SCORE!
